Life Around the Abra is a visual exploration of the rhythm, movement, and quiet poetry surrounding Dubai’s most enduring symbol of connection.

Through intimate street moments and layered city scenes, this project captures commuters, workers, tourists, and long-time residents as they cross paths along the waters of Dubai Creek. The abra becomes more than a boat — it becomes a witness to change, tradition, ambition, and belonging.

Between the old souks and rising skyline, this series reflects the human stories that continue to flow, just like the water beneath the wooden hull.
